28th International Passive House Conference 2026 on April 24–25 in Essen – “Transforming with Energy Efficiency!"

Once again, we were able to present two contributions.

A plenary lecture demonstrates that with serial renovation it is possible to keep overall costs after the renovation lower than in the current state. A reduction in operating costs – which mainly consist of heating and cooling – can demonstrably finance the capital costs of the energy retrofit.

A second contribution presents our two-day seminar, consisting of a technical part and a dissemination part.

Switching to renovation comes with a great deal of responsibility towards our customers. It requires many new ideas, and our smartshell reno continues to grow through practical application. Providing our smartwin partners with market confidence through a competent entry into renovation only becomes truly rewarding when real projects achieve a positive overall outcome.

We have succeeded in doing so.
