With a completely new approach to the possible performance levels of a window, it was Franz Freundorfer and Sepp Lorber who have succeeded for the first time to provide a Passive House window for the cold climate.
The new window has a minimum face width of 58 mm and has been certified by the Passive House Institute.
In the third quarter of 2014, the birth of a new generation of window becomes reality with a pilot project in Styria. Mid-2017, we allowed production to commence by our first licensed partners.
In 2022, the window system was greatly simplified in the production process in cooperation with several smartwin partners. All development steps are also applied to the smartwin solar.
